Loes Adegeest

Loes Adegeest (FDJ-SUEZ) has been racing for a long time now, but it was only in 2022 that the Dutch rider really came to prominence. The combination of a break-out season on the road and winning the inaugural eSports World Championships earned Adegeest a spot in the WorldTour for 2023, where she remains for 2024.

Some may doubt how virtual cycling ability translates onto the road, but Adegeest dispelled any doubts about her strengths straight off the bat in January of 2023, winning the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in impressive fashion. Clearly a rider with a strong engine, the 27-year-old often works in support of the likes of Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig and Marta Cavalli, but she's far from just a domestique, and she's regularly to be found picking up top-10s of her own on hilly days and reduced sprints.
