Veronica Ewers is an American professional cyclist who races for EF Education-Cannondale.

A former footballer, Ewers was a late convert to competitive cycling, but made a fast-track move to the WorldTour, joining EF as a stagiaire in 2021. In her first full season on the road in 2022, Ewers had a breakout year, the biggest highlight being her ninth overall finish at the inaugural Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

The American is a pure climber, but her bold racing and fast finish mean she is also suited to the hilly one-day races, where she has a number of wins and podium finishes, not just the mountainous stage races.

In 2023 Ewers had a stop-start season, finishing fourth overall at the Giro d'Italia Women but crashing out of the Tour de France Femmes with a broken collarbone.

In 2024, she will join EF Education-Cannondale after signing a two-year deal with the team. With the departure of EF Pro Cycling as title sponsors, the EF Education-TIBCO-SVB WorldTeam is no more.
