Caleb Ewan is an Australian professional rider who currently races for Belgian squad Lotto Dstny. A former world champion at junior level on the track, Ewan turned professional with Orica GreenEdge in 2014 and quickly established himself as one of the most promising sprinters on the WorldTour circuit. He took his maiden Grand Tour stage win at the 2015 Vuelta a España in 2015 before picking up his first Giro d’Italia stage win two years later.

Tour de France opportunities at Orica never materialised and Ewan departed for Lotto Soudal in 2019. He won three stages in that year’s Tour de France and finished second in the race for the Green jersey. He won a further two Tour stage wins the following year, before taking another pair of Giro stage wins in 2021. Ewan’s 2022 campaign was hit by a combination of injuries, crashes and bad luck and he failed to win a single stage at the Tour de France in July. Twice second in Milan-San Remo, Ewan has also won a number of one-day races and remains one of the most successful sprinters of his generation.
