Alberto Bettiol

Alberto Bettiol is an Italian cyclist who races for the EF Education-EasyPost team. Bettiol is a former winner of the Tour of Flanders and won a stage at Giro d’Italia in 2021. 

The Italian rider turned professional with Cannondale in 2014 before moving to BMC Racing at the start of the 2018 campaign. He spent just a single season on the squad before turning to the Slipstream organisation, which by the start of 2019 had rebranded as EF Education First.

His victory in the 2019 edition of the Tour of Flanders was Bettiol’s first win as a professional, and he has since won stages at the Giro d'Italia and Tour Down Under, with one-day races and breakaways becoming his speciality.
