Peter Sagan is a former professional road rider who now races in mountain biking.

With a career spanning three decades, Sagan forged a reputation as one of the most decorated sprinters and one-day riders of all time, winning Spring Classics and three road world titles.

Sagan turned professional in 2010 with Liquigas in Italy and raced for a number of high profile teams during his career including Bora-Hansgrohe, Tinkoff Saxo and TotalEnergies. He won a record breaking six green jerseys at the Tour de France and 12 Tour stages.

He won three road world titles in a row between 2015 and 2017 and claimed victories in both the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. He has also won stages in the Vuelta a España and Giro d’Italia.

The 2023 season was Sagan's last within the elite men's road peloton. In 2024 he will target the mountain bike circuit and has hopes of winning an Olympic gold in Paris.
