Gravel is a growing discipline worldwide, but its roots remain in the US
It is no secret that the US gravel scene is booming and 2024 is set to be an even bigger year with races running right across the calendar and events in almost every corner of the nation.
With big landscapes, copious gravel roads and a high demand for getting out into nature, it is an exciting time for those who have been bitten by the gravel bug.
Nevertheless, the gravel calendar is as fast and loose as the racing itself and for many, it can be a challenge to keep track of all the racing opportunities America’s gravel scene has to offer. With races running every weekend from the end of January to the beginning of November – with the exception of Easter weekend – there is a lot of noise that can drown out some of the racing opportunities from around the country.
Of course, the big races at this point have something of a set rhythm, as we have written about in our top 10 must-do US gravel races and our 8 hidden-gems of US gravel stories, but the others continue to move and adapt as the gravel discipline matures. To help make sense of it all, we have put compiled a comprehensive list of all the gravel races coming to the United States in 2024, from coast to coast.

Note: we have scoured the web to compile this list, but we could be missing a couple! Let us know in the comments below if there is a permitted gravel race that we are missing and we will look into it! Races without dates are likely to be returning in 2024, but have yet to announce dates.
