After a tense final week, Sepp Kuss was finally able to celebrate victory in the Vuelta a España. Not only was the win the first American Grand Tour overall victory in a decade, but it was also Jumbo-Visma’s third Grand Tour victory of the year, giving the team a clean sweep of the big stage racing prizes in 2023.

In the GCN Racing News Show, Dan Lloyd returns from commentary duties to sum up the Vuelta and delve into the race and season of splendour that Jumbo-Visma can now celebrate. The big question after it all: are Jumbo-Visma the greatest team ever?

What's more, and what might be more important in terms of Sepp Kuss’ Vuelta win, is Remco Evenepoel to thank for the American’s win?

Beyond Spain, Dan ran through Mathieu van der Poel taking his first win in the rainbow jersey, the Tour of Romandie Féminin, the Italian one-day classics and the schedule that is coming up over on GCN+ this week.

The racing includes the upcoming European Championships, the Skoda Tour de Luxembourg and the next two stops on the USCX schedule in Rochester, New York. Additionally, tomorrow is the release of a new documentary on the Monte Zoncolan, in which Si Richardson was joined by Dan Martin to take on the famous climb.

Lastly, Dan broke down the first race of the cross season in Roanoke, Virginia, all of which are streaming on GCN+.
