This week the GCN Cycling News has news from record-breaking UCI Track World Cup and Martyn Ashton's Road Bike Party 2.

The UCI Track World Cup at altitude in Aguascalientes, Mexico saw world records tumble.Anna Meares took the 500m TT record, while Francois Pervis took the 1km record, with an astonishing 5 men beating the previous best.
Cyclocross has a new star. Mathieu van der Poel, the current junior world champion, was already thought to be one for the future, but he's now one of the current challengers, finishing just 5 seconds behind winner Niels Albert at the Antwerpen Scheldecross.
