Actually, that's not all the tech we have in the show. Having explained all about what a 'bodge' is, we've got yet more of your bodged tech. And, we have some affordable tech too – probably our favourite kind.
We've got our hands on a set of Garmin Varia lights. It goes without saying that lights are an essential safety feature, but these ones elevate that. The front light, when linked with a Garmin Edge, alters its angle depending on your speed, and, the Varia Radar lights also display when traffic is nearing. Would this change the way that you ride? Let us know down in the comments.
Retro tech is courtesy of MTB and CX legend Simon Burney, who has rebuilt his 1984 world championship 'cross bike, with original parts, right down to the 26mm 'cross tubs.
In the news this week, we picked out this article over on road.cc: http://road.cc/content/news/170237-startup-aims-pair-millions-stolen-bikes-their-owners
No-one likes a bike thief, so, it's good to see an initiative like this starting up.
As usual, we want to hear from you; tweet us or get in touch on Instagram using the hashtags in the Show, keep your #WelcomeGCN entries coming in, have a crack at caption of the week, and, just ask us cycling questions down in the comments. We do check them and we do reply!

Cyclists are known for their lean physiques. To some outsiders, they might appear "skinny" and "weak", and while we know that this isn’t the case, Dan & Si still tackle the debate head-on! In this week's show they dive into whether a cyclist's physique is truly the pinnacle of fitness ...or not!
If you were given £2,000 to buy any bike you want, what would you do? Here at GCN, we'd almost certainly go for a used bike.
