Scott, the bike sponsor of Sylvain Chavanel's IAM Cycling team rolled out this very special custom painted bike for the Tour de France. We took a close look. Subscribe to GCN: http://gcn.eu/SubscribeToGCN The Scott Addict HMX was released in 2013, and at the time was the lightest production frame in the world. It's not been superseded by much, and so Chavanel gets to ride one of the lightest bikes in the peloton. Or, more accurately, has to add more weights to it to meet the UCI's minimum weight restriction. With full Shimano DI2, SRM powermeter, Ritchey components and DTSwiss wheels, the finishing kit is every bit as cool as the custom paint job. The class on this bike is more than skin deep.
