The 2014 Paris-Nice started with two stages for the sprinters.

This year's Paris-Nice has no mountain top finishes or time trials. With a mixture of sprint stages and days for the rouleurs, it's sure to be an exciting race.

The first stage finished in a bunch sprint, with riders like Gianni Meersman, Nacer Bouhanni and John Degenkolb contesting. Stage 2 was also a bunch finish; with Meersman out of the lead group, there was space for a new name on the podium.
