New SIGMA ROX 12.0 Sport | GCN Tech's First Look

Clock00:00, Tuesday 2nd October 2018

Check out the brand new SIGMA ROX 12.0 Sport GPS bike computer, which Si was lucky enough to ride with. It's packed full of great features and Si talks you through all of these whilst riding the beautiful roads of Alta Badia.

In association with SIGMA.

This is the sport set, which is one of two options, and it comes with speed and cadence sensor and heart rate strap, but there is a pared-down one as well without the additional sensors. It has a big 240 X 400 touchscreen, although it has physical buttons as well. Up/down, stop/start, lap and home.

Everything you’d expect from a top-level GPS unit is here, the Ant plus connectivity, the blue tooth connectivity to allow you to pair it with a variety of sensors. In this case, we're just using a Quarq power meter. The advanced power functions are all here as well, including torque effectiveness and pedal smoothness.

You can also develop your own interval sessions actually on the device itself. You can do them indoors or outdoors after that. Given where we are, in Alta Badia in the Dolomites, we're less concerned about training, and more about getting out on the bike, and so, what we're really going to be looking into is the mapping.
