First of all, don’t panic. It happens to most of us from time to time, endurance sports can be hard work from time to time! It can take quite a lot of commitment to ride a bike, and sometimes that might feel like too much.
The first step to falling back in love with cycling is to really have a think about why you’ve stopped enjoying riding a bike? Once you know exactly what you’re not loving about riding a bike, it’s much much easier to work out how to deal with it.
Have you moved somewhere new and found yourself riding by yourself on rubbish roads because you don’t know where to ride?
Maybe you’ve just become sick of racing, the fear of crashing has got to you?
Even successive injuries might have got you down, it is hard to keep working your way back to fitness.
Whatever it is, the more detailed you can be the reason behind you falling out of love with cycling, the easier it will be to solve your problem.
