One of the biggest changes the sport of cycling has seen is the introduction of data and gadgets, much of which can be viewed in real time on your head unit. This week we are discussing if you should always ride with data, do the numbers make you a better cyclist or is it better to ditch the data completely and just enjoy turning the pedals and being outside? It’s an interesting conundrum. Back in the day, riders would be completely blind to the speed and output of watts.

Another new bike, this time officially released is the Argon 18 Nitrogen Disc. As the name would suggest, this too is a disc brake bike. And it’s said to be quite a different bike from the Nitrogen rim brake, firstly, the forks are said to be 80% stiffer laterally than that of the rim brake bike, but with the same level of comfort.

Bike Of The Week - Last week we had the Trek Emonda of Trek Drops in that beauty of a colour, against the Canyon Aeroad of Canyon SRAM in what has previously been called the best colour scheme ever, the winner with 74% of the votes is the Canyon, amazed at that as we’ve seen so much of them. This week, let's put the battle between the Giant TCR Advanced of Michael “Bling” Matthews of Team Sunweb winner of GP Cycliste de Quebec oh, and Montreal. Up against the Pinarello Dogma of Colombian Champ Sergio Henao.
