As promised, we’re going to do the annual run-down of the latest pro cycling team kits and using our style guru status, pass judgement as to whether they are hot, or not. As with our race predictions, if we say hot, you know it’s not. And vice versa. Now, the World Tour has kicked off at the Tour Down Under in Adelaide so all the men’s and almost all the women’s teams have been strutting their stuff. It’s quite the catwalk, isn’t it? Jon Cannings fitted right in.

Firstly, we’ve got some kits that are essentially the same. AG2R - still brown. Movistar men and women’s, still cool. Canyon SRAM - still super cool. Mitchelton Scott men’s and women’s - still a bit boring. Maybe why Caleb Ewan left? He looks faster than ever in his new Lotto Soudal kit, which is pretty much the same. Classic, not cool. BORA - still the same although, you might not realise this as Peter Sagan has never been able to wear it!
