We’re just settling into the new road season, and after the mid-winter slumber some teams have transformed their kits, and in some cases, their team names too. We’re going to pick out 9 of the biggest and boldest changes for you now. Cannondale Drapac have adopted an audacious shocking pink/neon green combination in their new guise as EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale...to give them their full name. It’s polarised opinion so far among cycling fans. Could it be so bad, it’s good? We must say they’ve done a good job with Kim Magnusson’s National champs jersey. The last men’s WorldTour team to announce their kit right at the end of January was FDJ...sorry, Groupama-FDJ as they will soon be known. Naturally their new co-sponsor takes pride of place on the front of their new jersey, with a refresh of the French tricolour colourscheme that has become synonymous with this squad. However, because the new deal begins in March 2018, we won’t see the new kit raced until Paris-Nice. Strangely, the sponsorship deal for the women’s team is different, they’ll still be known as FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope. There’s just a few of the kits we’ve picked out - but we want to know from you - what are your favourite and least favourite kits of 2018? Let us know in the comments section below.
