Fred Wright

Fred Wright is a British pro cyclist on the Bahrain Victorious team.

Wright turned professional with Bahrain at the start of 2020 after a promising junior and U23 career. In his final season before turning pro, Wright won stages in both the U23 version of the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de l’Avenir. A strong climber and solid domestique, Wright has raced both the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España on two occasions. He has yet to win a professional UCI race but has come close on several occasions, including second-place finishes at both the Vuelta and Tour, as well as taking the British national road race title in 2023.

Wright currently has a contract with Bahrain Victorious until the end of the 2025 season.
