Clara Honsinger

Clara Honsinger is an American cyclo-cross specialist who last raced on the road with EF Education-TIBCO-SVB. She is a three-time national cyclo-cross champion, winning the stars and stripes jersey in 2019, 2021 and 2022, as well as once as an U23 rider.

She signed for TIBCO-SVB in 2021 and began racing on the road in Europe, and the 26-year-old is still developing as a road rider. For the moment, Honsinger does not appear to have a contract for the 2024 road campaign.

So far, her best results on the road have been two fourth overall finishes at the Joe Martin Stage Race in her native United States. Honsinger’s small build lends her well to climbing, but as such an accomplished off-road rider, she is someone who feels at home in the cobbled Classics. She is also a strong time trialist, with the shorter effort aligning itself well with the efforts required for cyclo-cross.
