Elsewhere, after four weeks of absorbing entertainment, Tour de France action has come to an end with the conclusion of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The eight-day race, won by Demi Vollering, saw a passing of the guard between Annemiek van Vleuten and the SD Worx leader.
Van Vleuten’s run of dominance in women’s Grand Tours is over and with her career coming to an end after this season, the Movistar veteran saw her crown as the Queen of the women’s peloton passed over to Vollering. In this week’s World of Cycling, our team of analysts reflect on a great week of racing in France.
