UCI Women's WorldTeam

This German WorldTeam was born from the ashes of the Velocio-SRAM squad back in 2016 and very quickly established itself as one of the premier squads in women’s cycling, amassing wins in some of the biggest races on the calendar - the Giro Rosa (now Giro d'Italia Women), Trofeo Alfredo Binda and Boels Ladies Tour, just to name a few.

The team was also one of the first to join the Women’s WorldTour upon its inception. After a winless streak between 2019 and 2022, Canyon-SRAM had a very successful 2023 thanks to some of their new riders, winning stages at the Giro d'Italia Donne and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, plus placing Kasia Niewiadoma on the podium at the Tour.

Their Giro and Tour stage winners Antonia Niedermaier and Ricarda Bauernfeind were both graduates from their development team, Canyon-SRAM Generation, and 2023 also saw Chloé Dygert come back into form, winning a stage at the RideLondon Classique and becoming time trial world champion.

For 2024, the team have only made one signing, in the shape of promoting Justyna Czapla from the development side. Otherwise, it is as you were for Canyon-SRAM, who will hope to see Niewiadoma carry her winning touch from gravel to the road.
